§ 2.04. Incompatible officers.

No member of the council shall hold any other municipal office or become an employee of said city while serving as such council member. No former member shall be appointed to any paid office or employment of the city, which office or employment was created, or the emoluments of which were increased, during his/her term as council member or mayor, until two (2) years after the expiration of the term for which he/she was elected.
