§ 2.07. Salaries.

The council shall fix the salaries of all officers of the city, either elective or appointive, including heads of departments. The compensation for mayor and council members shall be established in such a manner as to provide equal benefit based upon each position's duties. The compensation for mayor and council members shall be reviewed and set by council action no later than the first council meeting in June of each municipal election year. The salary of no elected officer shall be increased during the term for which he/she is elected.
