§ 25-5. Right to enter private property.

  • The city has the right to enter in and upon private property, including buildings and dwelling houses, in or upon which is installed a municipal utility, or connection therewith, at all times reasonable under the circumstances, for the purpose of reading utility meters, or inspecting or repairing meters or the utility system. The city may enter in and upon premises of a consumer found to be in violation of this chapter in order to disconnect utilities to which such violated rule or regulation relates.
