§ 25-822. Connection fees, costs and liabilities.

  • (a)

    A waste water system connection fee is established. No connection shall be made with the waste water system without first having obtained permission, as otherwise provided herein, and also making payment of the following connection fees:

    (1)

    If applicable, a residential and commercial waste water service connection fee. Such fee shall be determined by resolution of the council.

    (2)

    If applicable, an industrial waste water service connection fee. The fee shall be determined by the council after hearing all facts and must be reasonable considering the volume and type of waste to be discharged into the waste water system.

    (b)

    All costs and expense incidental to the installation and connection of the building sewer shall be borne by the owner. The owner shall indemnify the city from any loss or damage that may directly or indirectly be occasioned by the installation of the building sewer.
