§ 2-117. Director of community development.

(a)

The director of community development shall supervise the economic development staff, city planning, city building inspector, the fire marshal, and the zoning official.

(b)

He/she shall provide direction to all community development functions of the city, directed toward the effective achievement of city improvements and future development, consistent with the goals and objectives developed and approved by the city planning commission, the city council, and other commissions and boards which may be involved.

(c)

He/she shall fulfill all job requirements as related to the community development division as adopted by the city administrator.
