§ 2-147. Director of finance.

(a)

The director of finance shall supervise the municipal liquor store and the accounting and data processing departments.

(b)

He/she shall direct all city functions involving financial planning and financial operations, including the provision of financial reporting to the council, and the public utilities commission, as well as administrative functions for the other divisions and for the council.

(c)

He/she shall coordinate the responsibilities of his/her office with appropriate council committees.

(d)

He/she shall act in the capacity as city treasurer.

(e)

He/she shall fulfill all job requirements as related to the finance division as adopted by the council.
