§ 2-182. Director of public utilities.

(a)

The director of public utilities shall supervise the separate utility departments as listed in section 2-181.

(b)

He/she shall plan and direct the efficient and effective operation of the city's utility operation, consistent with the goals and objectives of the public utilities commission and the council.

(c)

He/she shall coordinate the responsibilities of his/her office with the director of community development, director of public works and the director of finance.

(d)

He/she shall fulfill all job requirements as related to the public utilities division as adopted by the public utilities commission and the city administrator.
