§ 2-289. Duties.

  • The safety council shall:

    (1)

    Serve as the committee to receive complaints and suggestions from citizens regarding traffic and pedestrian safety issues, and other items which pertain to the general safety, and make recommendations to the council.

    (2)

    Develop solutions to complaints in consultation with the chief of police, director of community development, or the director of public works.

    (3)

    Make recommendations to the council in any area affecting the general health and well-being of residents of the community.
