§ 2-22. Order of business.

  • (a)

    The order of business at regular meetings of the council shall be as follows:

    (1)

    Call to order;

    (2)

    Roll call;

    (3)

    Determination of a quorum;

    (4)

    Consent agenda;

    (5)

    Approval of minutes (actual reading may be waived if each member of the council was furnished with a copy thereof, and if unanimous consent is given);

    (6)

    Scheduled hearings and bid lettings;

    (7)

    Administrative appeals;

    (8)

    Financial reports;

    (9)

    Reports of boards, committees, and department heads;

    (10)

    Licenses and permits;

    (11)

    Old business;

    (12)

    New business;

    (13)

    Bills;

    (14)

    Adjournment.

    (b)

    The order of business may be varied by the presiding officer, but all public hearings shall be held at the time specified in the notice of hearing.
