§ 3-44. Persons eligible for special temporary on-sale licenses; license applications.

  • (a)

    Special temporary on-sale licenses for the sale of nonintoxicating malt liquor may be issued at the discretion of the council and only to the following organizations:

    (1)

    Nonprofit corporations duly organized pursuant to Minnesota Statutes section 317.02.

    (2)

    Congressionally chartered and incorporated veteran's organizations which have been in existence for at least ten (10) years.

    (3)

    Religious organizations associated with or an integral part of a duly established church located within the city and owning real estate in the city.

    (4)

    A brewer sponsoring a social event within the municipality.

    (b)

    An applicant for a special temporary on-sale nonintoxicating malt liquor license must submit a written application for such license upon forms prepared for that purpose at least fourteen (14) days prior to the anticipated sale.
