§ 4-25. Owner responsibility for sanitation.

(a)

Owners of a dog or cat are at all times responsible for the sanitation of their animal, whether on their own property, on the property of others or on public property.

(b)

It is unlawful for any owner or other person in charge of a dog or cat, to be in a park, upon other public property or private property not owned by said person, and to allow the dog or cat to defecate and then to fail to clean up the defecation immediately.
